Hello everyone looking to get into JKA more seriously then before. I'd like to know what files are necesary to get the competitive aspect of this game going. What do most clans use etc...and where people get those stat tracking and auto ingame text things. I have played this game casually for awhile and figure why not do it full time and get serious. Any other active forums or websites on the subject will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

It's a matter of preference. I recommend playing it by your own standards. No file is really necessary for the competitive aspect of this game since the competitive aspect is virtually unexistant now. I do recommend not getting the JA+ mod though. If you really want to try to play competitively try getting into CTF, Pure FFA, or siege (MovieBattles II).

I would totally second the MovieBattlesII mod w/ all it's map packs. It is a large download, but tons of fun. Customizable classes make it a completely different game experience every time you play. This isn't even saying anything about a greatly improved sabering system where you control your blocking. Take a look for yourself...

There is actually quite a few people still playing on base servers and ESL and a new league is comming out in March for US clans/teams.

If u do want to play TFFA more seriously forgot JA+ altogether there are a few "OKAY" clans out there but Base is were the better people are.

Siege is even more dead than TFFA so i wouldn't go there. Movie Battles is okay.

It all depends on what form of TFFA you're referring to Hypnotize. If you're talking about full Force, full weapons TFFA it most likely is just as dead as Pure FFA.

This league thing you pointed out a saberist thing right?

It is a saber only league yes. There are quite a few clans/teams that will probably be active in the league once it is up and going since most are getting tired of ESL.

And yes if u are looking for Full Weapon Tffa league or group u might as well search for Jimmy Hoffa.
