<(:-/*DSX*/-:)>Nah, he'll be playing unpatched JO, were all the 'old school' duelists are. :p
That's not "old-school". Dark Forces 2 is, as far as Lightsaber combat in gaming goes. But that's just me. JK2: JO's next in line, and JA's "new-school", assuming that the newer the game is the less "old-school" it is. They're all good though, and I don't complain because I admit to how bad I am. At least I'm decent with a rapid-fire gun or a heavy-duty one. Still got to work on sniping skills, they're the most fun against people who show their backs, whether they have a lightsaber in their hands or not. :)
notice that hes complaining about the people that play the game and not the game itself. But, since the people are bad the game must be bad too. Seriously, quit whining about the way other people play. If your good, you should be able to beat them, especially the kata whores. If not, just go through trial and error til you get better and are good. Another thing, stop complaining about excessive use of the kata. It works really well against agressive types and thats one of the things its meant for. Just stop rushing in and u probably wont get kata'd (unless some cheapo gets u from behind). And thats another thing im sick of. People are always saying "oh JO is better than JA because the saber system was perfect and JA sux." These people for one thing should realize that the designers made JA with a more crowd pleasing, arcade-y feel in mind to make some money off it, therefore giving katas and all those "cheap" moves. They didnt design the game to be a perfect saber fighting game. If they did, the pace of the action would probably be a lot slower than it already is. Learn to appreciate it for what it is. A fast paced, easy to learn, fun Star Wars game.
