I must face it, but...I'm a newbie at this movie stuff I was suddenly impeled to start my own JKA movie group after seeing such other movies like Temple of the Jawa and stuff like that. Well there are two main problems I have. First, how do you delete the hud display in editing? Or is there another way to film with Fraps where the main hud doesn't show up? I'm confused about that, I've been practicing with Fraps in spectator mode but I dunno how to take out the hud display. Another thing is, I'm having a hard time converting my movie files from my movie editor to something universal, like a Windows Media Player file. I dunno if anyone can help me there or I'm just screwed at that part.
to remove hud, just type in your console: /cg_draw2d 0. In most film editors, there is an option to render your movie to wmv. In Windows Movie Maker it's very simple, in ex. Sony Vegas - it's a bit more complicated. What are you using?
I found some video editor I was going to use a long time ago for this club in my high school but I never got around to really using it. After finding Fraps I was like "SWEET". It's just called Magix Movie Edit Pro.
I deleted Magix Movie Editor, it was being an incredible pain to convert it into a Windows Media player file. I downloaded the Windows Movie Maker and it seems a lot better but my new problem now is...it's freakin' lagging so bad. I did a test and made a quick clip of my opening credits and after saving it as a movie it runs smoothly but while I edit, it lags so bad that it's a pain to edit the clips.
