It's been a long time since JKFiles has had a good old contest. However we have no idea what the contest should be about! So, in order to get an idea on what the contest should be about, and to further involve members of the Jedi Outcast/Jedi Academy modding community, we are asking you to submit ideas on what the contest should be about.
However, there are a few limitations, as we want lots of people to participate. 1. The subject of the contest must be relatively easy to do. (i.e no uber mapping, and no modelling.) 2. The subject of the contest must be specific. What I mean by specific is that it must have a theme. 3. The subject must be related in some way to Jedi Outcast or Jedi Academy
When a subject is chosen, new rules shall be posted, along with submission information.
New jk2/jk3files title image?
How bought saber blades those are easy to make and they work for both JA/JO.
Yeah, but you can barely tell the difference between one blade and the next unless it's a radical change. But, usually it's just "zomg liek 3pxls taken off da cornur"...
Something a little more noticable would be good.
How's about... element-themed skins on a commonly skinned model? Ya know, like fire, air, wind, lightning, ice, water, earth, etc etc so on so forth.
I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

Hehe. No. This is for brainstorming a contest idea. The contest itself has not started.
who can come up wit the best villain?
Lets say... we make a
MAPPING TUTORIAL CONTEST
the guy who writes the best tutorial wins the tutorial can be about everything which has something to do with mapping, shaders and stuff like that!
1. lots of tutorials will be on the net (good to new mappers) 2. lots of new, good maps to download (hopefully)
that kinda limits who can enter though dont ya think?
A new JKFiles skin? Including the image on the top of the page and the colors. Should be easily reproduced in any graphical software.
