I see chatting and walkign saber-down as moronic anyway. If you were a soldier in Iraq, in a firefight with rebels, would you holster your weapon or call home to have a little chit-chat?

:giggle: Serious: not.

Anyway, Star Wars were always surrealistic: Hyperdrive Doomstar JA players Zabraks Blasters Force Yoda...

But it is funny

One thing you have to consider is that some of these people are paying for their servers if they say no "laming" then you should repsect that.

I notice Abu5e entirely ignored my suggestion of avoiding servers with rules. Essentially, your moaning about rule-lovers is just as bad as their moaning about lamers. I've never had trouble finding a server with no rules, low ping and FFA-ing players. And in these servers, people who complain about laming are ignored. In this instance, it is THEY who should leave. These servers do not have admins that will throw you out for using the force or attacking other people. If there are admins there at all, it is just to keep offensive trouble-makers out. The servers you describe sound like servers that HAVE rules. In this instance it is YOU who should leave. And as for people earning respect, you've just described the whole problem with modern society, not respecting someone till they do something in your eyes that warrants it. Quite frankly all this whining is forcing me to consider whether many of the people in this thread 'deserve' respect, if that's the route you're going to go down. But that's a matter for a different thread.

We had all this, exactly the same, with JK2. And as was the case there, it was just as tedious and there isn't a problem. You've just invented one. I don't know why, I'm not a psychiatrist. Something to do with wanting everyone to do what you want perhaps, I don't know. Even if you can't find a single user-created server with no rules, which is very rare in my experience (more experienced combat-oriented clans usually encourage FFAing if only for recruitment's sake), there are plenty of corporate servers with no rules -- USE THEM! People crying 'lamer' are always ignored!

Company-owned servers are always operating. Although the JK server-detection system is flawed; you might try refilling the list once or twice, or using some third-party server detection software.

Or the other option is: Just wait untill the admins are offline!
