Force mod 3 is a good one, but the patch for it messed up the mod on my PC so try it with and without it's patch. But if force mod 3 isn't your thing, The last hope mod is an upgrade to JK3, including lots of helpful things like smarter AI, better jetpacks, and some other things. And sometimes the best new thing to use is a good map, here are some of my favorites: A must for duels! http://jediknight2.filefront.com/file/Beware_the_Rancor_Duel_Map;22613 My favorite of them all http://jediknight2.filefront.com/file/Force_Council_Headquaters;32484 You don't need to be a fan of LOTR to like this map http://jediknight2.filefront.com/file/Helms_Deep_v2;22538

This belongs in the Jedi Academy forum section.
han baccaTry JA+ Mod2.3 you won't regret it.[/quote]Yes, let's tell everyone to nerf their game down to the level where the skill element is non existent. That's a great way to cultivate a better community!
JA+ would have been moderately usable, if Slider hadn't pissed about with the combat coding. As it stands, the current versions of JA+ are nothing more than nub fodder, where skilled players take a backseat to those who exploit glitches.
The only server mod worth using is JAE. Why? Because it uses baseJKA saber combat, which isn't watered-down, and nubified.

There isn't a single aspect of Jedi Academy which is anything like Bridge Commander. The two are entirely different games, and run on entirely different engines.
I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

I highly disagree with that.
Anyway gdan87 it's a matter of preference. If you're willing to get into Pure FFA you don't want to get into mods that water down the gameplay and limit it as much as JA+ does. If you're into tactical based mods, such as siege mode in this case then try out MovieBattles. If you're into FFA featuring multiple factors such as types of characters and varying attributes of weaponry, abilities, etc try out Forcemod III.
Either way I highly recommend not trying the JA+ mod. I recommend to avoid it at all costs.
Lovely weather here

Before you do anything make sure you have the 1.1 patch http://jediknight2.filefront.com/file/Jedi_Knight_Academy_Patch_101;20459 and having JA+ does not affect your game on non JA+ servers so its good to have as the majority of Servers on JKA run on that mod

Hahaha! LOL! Finally, someone took Rosh out the least conspicuous way. I love it! LOL!!!
I recommend www.moviebattles.com. It's a siege mod...but is so far away from anything else in base JKA that you wont recognize it. With a completely redesigned saber system, and a horde of classes to choose from, I have personally NEVER looked back. Xfire has 793 hours logged in JKA...and I didn't even get xfire until I got moviebattles.
That mod is like crack.
