As the title says, I'm a returnee... WARNING: BIG TEXT AHEAD. If you're not a fan of reading and/or don't really care, move over the wall of text that follows and start reading in the ** I am not a faithful Star Wars fan, in fact I followed very little of the movies, having only watched the last (3rd Revenge of the Sith I think) in the big screen... I had, however, a big passion for the whole Jedi style and such, and when I first became aware of the Jedi Knight series, I imediatly became a fan. I had Jedi Knight II since shortly after it came out... And 3 or 4 years ago (when DID this game come out?) I had this game, I played it extensively and I never got bored of it for a minute...(online that is)... Till one day, tragedy struck, and after having recently formated my computer I acidently used the CD 1 of Jedi Academy as a stand for my chair, with rather damaging results to the little disk... A part of me died that day... And for 3 years I've whept silently, missing one of my favorite games... Till recently, while doing some major cleaning in my house, ALAS! A backup copy of cd 1!! My long-lost Jedi passion returned! Since then I have taken almost every chance and free moment to once again become a jedi... I still find the fun endless... However I have a problem.. ** Before the little "incident", I had tons of costum maps, models, etc... I believe some of them came in a "pack" even... I rarely would enter a server with a map I didn't have... However, as you might realize, all of that was lost... I now needed to regain those maps and models, and thus I came to the one place I remembered to have these things. Here! However, I now find myself lost, in the middle of soo many costum models and maps...Thus the questions to those of you who are up to date: - Is there still a "pack" with the most commonly used maps and models? - If not, which maps are most commonly used/more popular - How do you get the red-and-blue reborn skin? I used to have it, and I remember everyone could see it. - Anything I should note from the time I was gone? A pre-emptive "Thank you" to everyone who reads and/or tries to help. I dare not be so corny as to finish with a "may the force be with you" so... I'll be seeing you around. - Caliostro

Thank you

Thank you but I'll have to turn down on the clan offer for now though, I've never been a fan of "clans", I will however drop by the server if you have one (I'm from portugal(europe) btw...so might lag a little in some US servers)

Their is a variety of maps used depending on gametype. The models however, most popular for the Star Wars Series itself come from those like Hapslash, Neon Marz, and many others, as well as touch ups, and repaints.

I need you to help me help you. What gametypes do you intend on playing, like FFA for RPGing? Or TFFA, or all that good stuff. What other things are you into? Because modders have made countless things in the department of maps and models for other popular series like Final Fantasy, with the recend MidgarV3 and other things like Sephiroth, Cloud, and Vincent models.

So, help me help you!

I see..I should have specified, my apologies. Well, I mostly play any gametype, but I favour FFA>Team FFA > Siege under that order. I'm a big Final Fantasy fan, and I'm mostly looking for any map that's widely used. (I remember I had a Matrix Revolution map...) Thank you for your time.

I should point out that whilst Jedi's home II is a very popular download at JK3files, there are about sixteen servers that run on it - They are all JA+ mod, FFA, and are mostly RP servers. Often at a time, about six of those sixteen servers empty.

My advice would be to avoid servers with downloaded maps if possible if you're interested in FFA, as well as servers with JA+ installed on them - some of those are really 'dueling servers' (not the gametype, though).
