This is a problem that i get now that didn't have when i first played the game. It seems that all the wepons have gotten larger in size and look strange. Like the batons the sand people use are now about just as big as the sandpeople, and all the normal lightsabers, and guns seem to be bigger too. Any idea of how i could try to fix this, checked the tech support thing and my video card and driver are all supported.
REINSTALL dun dun dun duuuuuunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
try that, if you don't feel like doing this, sorry... i dunno what the problem is... did you download anything that might do this?
I've tried to reinstall it and run it without any mods at all and i still get the same issue. I'm currently using Direct X 9.0b and an Ati 9600 256 pro video card so don't know if that has anything to do with it, even though it says it is a supported card.
Mmh. If there's no mod in the gamedata nor base directory, you should try to dload and install the newest drivers for your ATI 9600 256 MB pro. If you already did that, this sounds strange, and you could try 2 things: - install the game in another computer (if you have another one good, otherwise ask to a friend of yours if you can install it for few minutes, just the time to test it) - change the copy of JA you bought with another new one, at the shop where you bought it.
Well just installed it and tried it out on my old comp with a Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 128 card which i know it worked perfectly fine on before a got my new pc, and the same problem i have is there. So i'm guessing some of the files that are installed got messed up on the cd, because they were fine before. I'd try to post a screen shot to show what the problem looks like, but it's pretty much just a weapon graphic problem because if i remember correctly the pistol wasn't big enough to be held like a rifle and the wookie crossbow wasn't able to touch the ground and wider than the character when it's rested. Oh yeah and the sabers weren't supposed to be bigger then the hand it is in. So yeah probably a weapon data file is messed up on the cd and installs wrong.
That seems incredibly unlikely, but not impossible.
