What has happened to the giant, total conversions? what has happened to simple, enjoyable singleplayer puzzles and NPC massacres?=p all we've been getting lately is startup screens, skins and maps:mad:. I'm looking forward to attack of the clones and dark forces:cool:, but those are in the distant future. Remember yavin 4: lost maps:bows:. that was quality! the creative levels and awsome sabers gave me a few month's worth of playtime. Remember survival mod 2? It was challenging and fun, (I cheated);) And the simple, yet fun carnage of the 100 stormtroopers map? (I recommend the bloody dismemberment mod for this one) :) Even something as simple as stormtrooper slaughter would be nice (or a youngling vs rancor fight:p) please, tell me if you are working on anything of the sort!!!

Make one yourself, then, and see why people don't make them.

JKA is dying. The number of servers it has can be measured in the low hundreds. Only a doesen or so are actually populated regulary. A lot are just home made servers. Besides that total conversions are very hard, there just isint interest. Its an old game.

Not to burst your bubble, but AOTC:TC was canceled. Why? See above.

There's no massive Total Conversions for this game because it's simply not moddable enough. That's why there never have been any TC mods, and why there never will be.

The closest you can get is slapping some new maps in and new models, etc, but even though it looks new, it's the same old game underneath.

If you want games which you can find custom content for or even mod yourself, Jedi Academy - and indeed any other game based on the Quake 3 engine - is the wrong place to look.

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

Sure, that might be right that it's the same old game underneath, but you can improve gameplay with some imagination. Take MBII for example, loads of people play that. Not as much as it used to but the servers are pretty crowded.

Don't get your hopes down about mods no longer being developed, Pieforever. Because they are, I know \/ that one is.
