We know that old games live, but the fact of the matter is how good is the game? I still play UT99 alot, unmodded, just basic fragging action online whenever I can find it. In fact, UT99 and the entire UT franchise all are still very active in modding and the online community..... but the Unreal engine has more power and moddability.
JA is very dated, just yesterday I got on and realized that the game wasn't all that good. Especially multiplayer, because for some reason they didn't use the same source code.
At least we are still better off than JKO.
A max of what? 500 players a day. JKA still has a decent player count.
Many clans are still accepting recruits, a lot of them are new to the game, some are not so new. I feel that this is beneficial, the more players circulating from the past into newer clans and newer players joining established clans. The more experiences and ideas that are shared that way, along with the creativity of our current modders and skinners will definately help keep the game more interesting.
Siege servers, MBII servers, CTF servers, Duel servers, FFA servers base and JA+ are still averaging 10-20 players each.
The community is changing, it is not dying. So the 'old time players' are leaving. The old die so the new can live. It is of no great loss. World of WarCraft can keep them. =p
Screw WOW, it was an okay game, but it didn't grab me in. I can't wait for other MMo's like Huxley, and the Marvel MMO.
I didn't make it!

Huxley sounds like an FPS with more latency issues.
Hexley is a MMOFPS.... different I know, but it has the possibility of getting me sucked in unlike WOW.
