Let me introduce myself. I'm Jamie from Filesnetwork. I'm a network admin of this network and one of the many parts of my job is listening to what you, the fans of our sites have to say and see if we can make any inprovements from your feedback.
I've learned today that a few of you are very annoyed that it does take the staff at JKfiles sometime to review these files and get them up on the site. I think the main reason the JK site is slow is that it only has a few people working on it, reviews do take alot of time as well.
I'm going to try and make this site fast so that people will be more happy with the service that we provide. I'll be talking to Amy, the site manager at JKfiles and try to work out a way to make it much more faster. We will probably be looking into hireing some more staff so please keep an eye out if you think you could help the site out.
We are sorry about the problems and we only want to make the site a better place and service for everyone. Please accept our biggest apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thanks for continuing to visit the site and supporting it.

JKfiles will never be the same as it were before (the pre-ugo times). The current site is very uncomfortable to me, with the countless bugs and the sloppy design. It feels, looks and behaves unfinished. Some of the reviewers are in total lack of enthusiasm. They sometimes (well, ALOT of times really) doesn't even bother reading the readme of the file before writing their review, and because of that they are getting their facts wrong. Also, if the reviewer are not comfortable reviewing a certain file, they should by all means pass it onto another reviewer instead of writing a mediocre review about themselvs, rather than writing something useful about the actual file. The POTD's. Lame if you ask me. What seemed like a great idea turned out to be one major flop. It was good at first, but then the "We're really sorry, but we're lacking submissions" time kicked in. Suddenly, JKfiles started this "crapfest" thing, trying to pick out the worst submitted POTD's they've got. No one was ever sure when the original crapfest ended, as the POTD's following turned out to be of the same "quality" or "value" as the Crapfest ones. Soon after the original Crapfest "fever" began to chill, Crapfest-2 began, and it most certainly has not ended to this day. I say either replace "POTD" with "POTW" (Picture of the Week), submitting quality POTW's that the administrators feels the community will like, or simply remove the whole POTD section. The poll is sort of meaningless. How I see it now is it just beeing another "filler-up" on the page. Though, that's probably because of that new design. Basicly, getting rid of that new design and cleaning up the site would be a great start. Though I have no faith in that Filesnetwork actually does that (as they seem to stick with the same design for every site). Oh well.
