What about hosting your own servers from your pc. My servers that I make never work. They are slow, and I have 384kbps connection. Y wont it work?
well, it's just not the same. dedicated servers are directly connected to the internet with 100mbps over multi-GB switches. dedicated servers have up to 4GB RAM and hella fast dual cpu etc etc; not comparable to most home pcs (tell me if your computer can top that)
but if ya wanna host a server at home, check all the settings, like being dedicated to the internet etc etc.
