What OS are you using? Vista/W7? Tried running in compatibility mode & as administrator?

I'm on Windows 7 and DF2 doesn't work for me. Luckily, I got it for only 10p so not much loss, money-wise. Compatibility mode and Run As Admin doesn't work for me, so I kinda gave up for awhile. It might be just a bit too old to use without an emulator - I'm unsure of the rules/laws concerning emulators, but it's an option.

Illidan Kazama;5397310i am using XP, do i have to use administrator mode?
Odd. Dark Forces 2 works (more or less) fine for me on XP. Try enabling compatibility mode on JK.exe file, setting it for Windows 95 or 98 / Me and running the game like that. Don't use the launcher to start the game. Run it directly from the JK.exe file.

What CPU and graphic card do you have?
I'm on Windows 7 and DF2 doesn't work for me. Luckily, I got it for only 10p so not much loss, money-wise. New(est) operating system(s) + new(est) hardware = kiss your old games goodbye. :(

Jedi Knight works on Windows 7, you just need to tweak it a bit. See the fourth post in this thread for a workaround. This should allow it to be playable. Google is your friend. :)

Have you tried the vista/win7 fix, in case it works?
