I don't spend enough time here

Inyri ForgeReally, there's a reason you have to go to college (in most cases) before you can get into this kind of thing.
Bah, college won't help you much with that, I know that from experience. If you don't trust me, go to one, and you'll see for yourself.

 Depends on how serious the developer is, I suppose. I really doubt they're going to let a high-school drop-out write the story, however. True, you don't need to be well-rounded to model what someone tells you to. A good model doesn't make a game good, though.
Well, as I see it, the problem wouldn't be so much what the final result would be like, but the journey TO the final result. To explain myself, how many mappers/skinners/designers/model makers and such it would take to make such a thing? Quite a few, I imagine. You think that everything would go without everyone arguing and complaining with each other? You think that no one would get fed up an leave the project? And even if they did manage to keep together, it'd take a very long time, probably a year or two at best. Of course, many games take that long or longer, but not that many people in the JK3 community have that much patience... Just another set of opinions by the "cheerful" Raptor522
It wouldn't officially be JK4 but if what your suggesting did happen it would be a fun game I recon.

Doubt it. Like said above, the story would be pretty cliched since most modders aren't the greatest story tellers. And most likely it be too focused on Multiplayer. Then the game would probably be based on existing source code, and the code probably won't change much. Then most mappers make MP levels, however, SP levels are far more complex. So it would probably feel like a multiplayer mod for whatever source code it was based on with a Star Wars feel and a badly tacked on SP mode. And as stated above, there's no way the team would be able to stay together while making it. So most likely it'd go for a month or two then crumble. And even if it were released, there'd be the problem of lawyers from LEC trying to shut it down. It just won't work.
Now lucasarts has absolutely no reason to not do it, unless selfish rednecks take over the universe.
The mice are about to take their attack, let them win!
If we let them win, then the cats will kill all the mice, then CATS will rule the world, MWUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Jk4 would kick! but yea... focus more on multiplayer
I didn't make it!
i was woundering that too but what time does it comes out on what year 2006, or 2007?
JK4 hasn't been announced.

Inyri ForgeLet me make a list of all the things that come to mind:
-cliche -grammatically incorrect -politically incorrect -obscene -"omgz n00b!" -no plot and/or overdone plot and/or awful plot -focused on mutliplayer -unbalanced
Shall I go on? This is just things I've noticed from peoples' suggestions in the other thread. If YOU LET 15 YEAR OLDS DESIGN A VIDEO GAME, IT'S NOT GOING TO TURN OUT WELL...
Erm, if you're going to go on about political correctness, don't be ageist.
