Why don't you try asking on SJC's own forums, where the development was/is based?

Get the link from any of the readme files from his maps. (Not posting it here so as not to break advertising rules. >_> )

Dude I owe you one. I've tried searching for this site on google but it came up with nothing, and the only reason I didn't catch it in the readme files, is because I never read them. I know very well how to place maps/skins/models/etc in my base folder and things like that. lol...

sjc (sith-j-cull) is making a mod for jka to make it more like starwars galaxies. dunno why but i dont particulary like/dislike the idea.

Hey, it's a decent enough project, but the question is... why?

No matter how many SWG elements are coded in to JKA, it will always be inferior to the original. The only way it would be anywhere near good enough is if all of SWG's codebase was ripped and imported into JKA.

My suspicion is that many want this as a way to play SWG without the monthly fees. If that's the case, I have two words symbolising a better way to play SWG without paying: "private servers".

Eh I'm having mixed view of it due to what is more likely to have when you turn JKA into SWG. For the most part, it can drop JKA down even more just for the "RPG" aspect.

Oh well it could be interesting, but under the average server out there now it would just be the same old thing except with even more RPG elements added into it. As a real FPS though I'd possibly try it out.
