I installed JK again after my last format and decided to play it while taking a break from college searching (Jesus, where'd the hell did all of them come from? Whittling through a list of 200 kinda sucks...) and got to level 8 before realizing it was on easy mode, which did explain a lot. So I had to go back and change it to Medium (Hard still pwns me :() and play through again. Sure brings back a lot of memories...

Note - I'm using an "ooh, pretty-model" mod right now, so that's why the jaggies are gone. :nodding:

Spoiler: Show
Level 1-cargodbnslh2.jpg I still don't know what the hell this is. Looks like freakishly large TIE-fighter pretending to be a cargo hauler...
Spoiler: Show
Level Deus - ahcrapsu1.jpg This was a bummer. I accidentally popped out from behind the hologram that hid the passage behind me. I stepped backed, but not before I attracted 4 bloody piggies. So I jumped to the ledge and got ready to throw a few grenades on them, but the stupid droid got in the way. After about 100 energy cells were wasted, they all died. They have lots of health and a nasty axe, but that's no match for a blaster on a tall ledge... thing. :p
Spoiler: Show
Level Tres - jackasspk2.jpg You know, out of all of the games I've played, this is the only enemy that freaks me out. I've actually fallen of the fourth level about 5 times out of sheer panic, in the past week. Then today, I fell into the battery acid when one of the shitheads popped out in the dark corridor thing at the end of the level. I hate those jackasses...

I'm going to now finish the game on medium (instead of actually doing what I should be doing, like going through my 1 foot pile of shit from colleges :p) since easy is boring now, considering I've played through at least once a year since 1999ish. You know you've played a game too long when you have nearly all the enemy and item placements memorized. :vikki:

The only thing I feel sad about is that I never got to play multiplayer. Probably a missed opportunity now... :(

Well, this made me feel old. Anyone else have any fun stories about "teh old skool" Jedi Knight? You know, before the series started to tank?

Ohh, the good ol' time's. Boy what I would give to find my stupid CD again! That was the second most fun game I have ever played and always will be. It used the Q2 engine right? I have Q2. :D

I just signed up, so I missed this post when it hit.. I just got done from almost 4 hours of playin Jedi Knight... I'm nostalgia gamer.. If it's old and good I play it as well as a lot of newer games, though they're losing their charm... Perhaps, if you're interested, we can have a match some time? -Atrusino

Also, it used a proprietary engine called Sith. [quote=Atrusino;3552405]I just signed up, so I missed this post when it hit.. I just got done from almost 4 hours of playin Jedi Knight... Yeah, I always wanted to try Jedi Knight MP. If you catch me on MSN or xfire, I'll definitely be interested in setting up a game. :D

I have added you to my XFire friends.. suppose we'll just catch up some time and have a game.. For those who do still play and don't know about this little treasure.... www.massassi.net has over 1000 levels and mods for JK as well as a lot of tools. They also have some stuff for JO and JA as well as the little-known Mysteries of the Sith.
