I didn't make it!
Ok, the title of this thread is a little confusing so let me explain.
Couple of years ago, I heard of a new star wars game (mind you this was years ago when KOTOR was new) and how it was based on a totally new story line taking place 1000 before Episode I. Looking at the pictures of this game it got me really excited because I thought it was going to be like Jedi Outcast. Where you had full control. Like you actually had to aim the gun at some one or you had to actually dodge blaster fire and lightsabers...but sadly i was turned down. It came out turn based. Don't get me wrong, it was a great game but I'd rather be the one jumping around, duel wielding pistols, and swinging the lightsaber myself.
The point I'm getting at is I think there should be a new version like that made. Like "Knights of the New Republic" 1000 years in the future but instead of turn based, it's real time. Maybe even a KOTOR mod for JK3. Or maybe...if any of you heard of "Fable" or "Fable:The lost Chapters" they could make a star wars version of that. NOT by the same company but something simillar (You can't say that they can't do that when there are several different versions of GTA).
So anyone think something like this could ever happen? Mind you all that I said "could ever happen" and that the word "possibilites" is listed in the title of the thread.

Well firstly KotOR is not turn based :p.
Secondly, I see no reason this couldn't happen. I kind of doubt it will, but it could, which is what you're asking. A KotOR mod could also happen, however it would take a lot of work, and most people just resort to porting. It probably hasn't been done because people are generally too lazy to recreate something that could easily be ported, and this community tends not to support porting.
However a KotOR-era plot not involving the events of KotOR would be something I'd be very interested in. Unfortunately I'm not a mapper or a scripter, so unless a proficient mapper is interested in something like that there's scant little chance of it happening.
