howdy... I need a new video card and wondered what's good. My card right now is crap, it came with the computer.
what do you guys use? and do you like it?
I don't have an unlimited budget either, is there a good card on the market that sells for a reasonable price?

now... to go broke...
The NIVIDIA 6800GT (You MUST get the GT) runs for about 200 dollars, and is by far superior to any ATI card I've experienced. It even runs GALAXIES (SWG) on high terrain range, and EVERYTHING maxed out beautifully. My old 5200 geforce ran about 14 FPS average with the LOWEST settings.

My old 5200 FX geforce ran the game fine at 30 FPS with medium settings.
My GeForce 6800 GT OC 256MB AGP card runs me as high as 93 FPS on standard maps on the highest settings. Card Cost $370 + tax
NVidea > ATI ^_^

XD That was actually a typo, my 5200 normally runs about 34, that's with dynamic glow on, because I can't aim for crap on MBs without it =\. and yes, NVIDIA is soo much better than ATI, since most games are made wtith the NVIDIA brand chipset in mind.
