Well your current image is 160 pixels by itself, so adding any text above or below it will push you over the limit.

For future reference, if you right-click an image and select Properties, you can check it's dimensions. This works for smilies as well. Normal (size 2) text is 9px tall.

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

If anyone has a sig more than 800px wide or 160px tall, report the post and mention their signature, because basically, they shouldn't have a sig that large.

Those are the rules the forum admins agree on, so those are the rules we have to follow. The only exception is the 'Personal opinions....' disclaimer for staff members, which doesn't count towards the limit.

If you use a smaller image, you can add more stuff underneath. Just so long as the total height isn't over 160, and the total width isn't over 800, then I won't have to chase you, supermods won't have to chase me if I don't chase you, and admins won't have to chase supermods if they don't chase me if I don't chase you. Etc.

If you want to keep an eye on the total size of your sig without doing any maths, you can use the Firefox extension, MeasureIt, or the Opera widget Screen Ruler. Both allow you to select an area of your screen and then display the pixel dimensions.

Anyway... I'm going to, like, split these few posts off. And.... voilá!
