Hello all, While I was playing KotOR, (SPOILER) and I reached the Leviathan part in which you can see Revan unmasked, I wondered if this is the only known version of Revan unmasked. Excluding off course, the person who played Revan in that one commercial. Could someone tell me this?

The "unmasking" isn't part of one of the cutscenes, but rendered seperately using the face you chose at character generation.

It just picks up where the cutscene itself finishes, for the "grand unveiling"....

All nice and well, but there isn't, for example in a comic, a 'real' face for Revan?

Except that with Darth Sidious, we knew all along who he really was. Funny thing though, a mate of mine didn't realise after he'd seen Episode 1 that Sidious was Palpatine. He didn't make the connection between Emperor Palpatine, Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, and Darth Sidious.... Despite the fact that they were all the same person, and same actor!

With Revan, he "has no face"! Basicly Pey, there is no canon face for Revan. Even in comics, his face hasn't been shown.

Well, in the original version of the Empire Strikes Back, Emperor Palpatine wasn't portrayed by Ian McDiarmid, so you can see why that could've thrown him off.

But he played the Emperor in RoTJ, and my mate's a little bit more of a SW fan than I am. He knew who Ian Mcdermid played in SW, and that he was going to be in the prequels.

He just never "twigged" that Emperor Palpatine/Sup Chan Palpatine/Darth Sidious were the same character.

Hell, he's got both the standard & widescreen editions of the '95 Digitally Remastered editions! And the same for each subsequent release of all the SW films to date. Heh, he's the one who loaned me his DVD copy of Clone Wars back in '06 which got me interested in that series.

Well, then I guess my question is answered. I find it a pitty though, that nobody has given him a face. Oh well, he has apparently no place of origin to, so it makes sense. Thanks for answering though.

Well, they do have to take things like skin color into account... It's sad, but they can't run the risk of being accused of racism by picking one ethnicity over another.

Plus, it adds to "the legend" of Revan.
