Is it still ridiculously overpowered like it was in the Xbox version? Or did the patch fix the issue within the PC version?

Overpowered? I didn't find it to be that overpowered in either the PC or Xbox versions. The only way I made mine overpowered was by adding crystals, usually a Hurrikane and a Ultima-Pearl. In it's origional state, it's really not that overpowered.

I don't think it's quite overpowered, but rather more a Higher amount of damage that it inflicts, compared to the other sabers - though it is less precise.

Well in the Xbox version, the penalties were removed but the benefits remained. It was a truly crazy weapon.

Meaning that if you played the game with a two-bladed weapon, you did so so much more damage and it's practically a breeze.

I played KotOR on the Xbox aswell, but I never noticed the penalty removal. Guess it's just me. Anyhow... I suggest using Double Bladed/Dual on the Xbox then, and Single saber on the PC, since you can always (*grins*) cheat on the PC for more damage! Well, you shouldn't mind me! I have never ever played anything else than a Consular with a single saber.

I've played Kotor over and over and over again, along with it's predecessor, TSL over and over.

I noticed almost immediately that the weapon "Worth using" was the double-saber because of the wild damage (25-38 +30 atk +str modifier) and the fact that there were no penalties, pretty much everything died in one or two hits besides Malak.

I didn't know if this was corrected in the pc patch or not.

That wasn't really on topic.

I was just asking if anyone knew if the PC patch fixed this issue or not. O.o still haven't gotten an issue.

I'm pretty sure--and I mean absolutely no offense by this at all--you're imagining things. :p

Double-bladed sabers have the same attack penalty you get if you use two lightsabers, unless you max out the two handed fighting tree. In fact, dual sabers are more effective, since you can upgrade them individually, and they also have a higher critical threat range.
