GA stands for Grand Arms as in the grand army of the republic?

Well I've never heard of it before and you didn't mention it, so you can hardly blame me for being confused.

And grammar isn't much of a top priority for me as long as people can read it

Never say that unless you want a slow death. Grammar can make or break a story. Admittedly so can plot (for example, Star Wars: Shatterpoint is really screwed up), but grammar is important. And if you ever say that again, I shall be very, very angry. I've had to put up with Suethor after Suethor for months and adding another one to the mix will not make me happy.

I like the premise of this fanfiction but I agree with Jade.

Proper Queens English (as in REAL english not americanised garbage) grammar is important. As is spelling. For example each new person talking must begin on a new paragraph...

"Hello" Said Jacen, "Im a Jedi. I defend the universe from the Dark side!"

"Greetings Jacen" replied the Geonosian representative, "I am the ambassador of Geonosia."

"Welcome to Coruscant, Ambassador." Jacen bows respectfully.

Makes the story much easier to read. Less of a headache too.

Additionally I should point out that the Republic had no standing army until the time of the movies. Chancellor Palpatine had to CREATE a Grand Army of the Republic at the beginning of the Clone Wars, there was no such body previously as the Republic was more of a loose confederation of independent worlds than a unified state.

You spelt Geonosis wrong. And I thought that the Republic did have an army around KotOR era, but disbanded it when a relative peace was finally achieved.

No I dont think the Republic had an independent body called an Army as such - I just think it was pretty much an extension of the Republic navy...

True, true. I am a fearsome sight to behold when I am defending Canon. I have held back many a LotR Suethor with the words "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!" Also, I tell them it's spelt 'Balrog', not 'Barlog' and that Morgoth is the true dark lord and Sauron was just his bitch, I mean, lieutenant. Harry Potter Canon rapists are defeated by 'Avada Kedavra' not 'Abra Cadaver' (I swear, I did not make that up. I have seen that 'spell'). They also show a strange love for Harry/Draco slash fics, so I print off an 'eighth book' entitled 'Harry Potter and his Eternal Love Who Is So Totally Not That Whore Ginny Or That Ugly Hermione'. I throw said book off a cliff. They run after it every time. Addition: Ginny is not a whore. Ginny is a normal teenage girl (who happens to be a witch =p) and does not sleep with everyone she has ever met *glares at fic I had the misfortune to read*. Nor is Hermione ugly. Emma Watson is ugly. Hermione is quite pretty, thank you very much. *is secretly in love with Ginny but also likes Hermione's brain* *goes to reread fic where Hermione's brain is put in Ginny's body* *purrs with contentment* I'd post more defences, but that would take time I don't have right now. Sorry.
