Razgriz1928;4503640I still don't understand what the Jedi wanted to debate on either and how it takes so long. There was a threat and it had to be stopped. As simple as that.

Nothing is ever simple. The Council sensed a greater threat. What that threat was, we're never really told. It may have been the Jedi Civil War, or it may have been something else entirely. Not that I'm saying they were right to refuse to go to war, but at least they had an excuse.

it may have been nihilus, but its unlikely, considering that he was mostly keeping to himself at that point. maybe sion?

It probably wasn't even one thing, more like a combination of various troubles that would stem from the Jedi's involvement in the Mandalorian Wars--Revan, Malak, Sion, Nihilus, the Jedi Civil War, the Jedi Purge afterwards, all of it.

its possible, the council said they felt the presence of an echo through the Exile, is it possible that they felt some of whats to come through that echo? like the echo of an echo.

My previous point still stands. I would've followed Revan to war. Not to destroy, but to protect. A soldier, not a warrior. ;)

Would I have turned to the dark side eventually? Probably. Revan turned all of the Jedi under him to the dark side. (Except the Exile of course.) So I probably would've ended up turning. After that, I don't know. But I'll tell you this. If Revan hadn't gone to war, the outer rim would've fallen. And then the Mid Rim. And then the inner rim, until they made it to the core worlds, where by then there would be nothing left to protect. And look at the rest of the history. Was Revan going to war really that bad? If the outcome of him going to war was as terrible as the council said, there wouldn't be any star wars movies, because the True Sith came and conquered everything. Look at the movies. The Republic is in a very good state at Ep. 1. Episode 2 and 3 it started to fall apart again, but that wasn't Revan's failing.

And THEN! The Jedi would act:bows::rolleyes:

I believe that I have previously stated that I would have gone to war to stop the Mandalorian Invasion. The Jedi Council was weak and ruled by fear, but nor without cause. The Council members, at least some of them, like Vrook, might have remembered the atrocities and casualties of the Great Sith War with Exar Kun. They looked to avoid a repeat of that blood shed. But they were still cowards and I would have joined Revan, if not led that damn crusade myself...

Full of hot air and repressed sexual tensions and desires, Vrook is.
