Did the Leviathon completely blow up Taris, or destroy just the surface buildings and people? And what/where exactly was the Promised Land?
The promised land was a place on Taris in the undercity where the outcasts could live in complete peace, but after Taris was bombed and the SURFACE was destroyed, it didn't matter what it really was.
I think the promised Land was a myth, just like a filler quest, if you know what I mean...I might read the dead girl's journal to find out some more crap about it.And no the planet was not blown up...you would need a supergun comparable to the death star's to do that. But the effect of Malak's bombing left it's scars, indeed.
As stated many times in both games, it was refferred to as bombing the Surface of Taris.
I didn't make it!
yep, even though Malek sais "destroy the entire planet" admiral karath dose not. but it becomes like Telos in KOTOR 2 (ie totaly dead). and i have no idea as to the promised land, it is probably an untrue myth made up by a madman. (in other words a strange little filler quest)
How isn't it true? The Jurnals prove it true. It just gets blasted as well.
it would've made an okay quest, if Bioware had bothered to make it longer, and not just have it abruptly stop.
It wasn't abruptly stopped.
Just the surface was destroyed. Like telos, but unlike aldaraan in episode 4.
