I thought this over, and thought that this might reveal some of our character. You are a Jedi. Would you have followed Revan to battle against the Mandalorians, or not? To be honest, I would've followed Revan. I think the Mandalorians had to be stopped. Feel free to argue or agree. I would like you to state your opinion.;)

(I forgot to add a poll, but oh well. Now maybe your opinions will be more free)

Nope. Since the very beggining it was pretty clear The Revanchist's motives were obscure. In the KOTOR Comics he always appears as a mysterious and secretive individual, clearly hiding a personal agenda; and in the KOTOR videogame, it was obvious, at least to me, from the very start, his intentions were anything but altruistic. The portrayal of Revan in TSL doesn't help him either, since my opinion on him being a glory hog was more than confirmed. Revan is the kind of "hero" history has shown us time and again: an individual who manipulates people's hopes and fears to achieve his own ends, regardless of his followers aspirations or well-being. And trust me, I would be a pro-active, agressive-oriented, kind of Jedi, much like Kyp Durron, who is one of my favorite Jedi Apprentice/Knight/Master s of all time... if not my single favorite... I would certainly have disobeyed the High Council and gone to fight in the Mandalorian Wars, but never under Revan's flag. To be quite honest, it is very possible I would have worked against his' and Malak's accumulation of power, resources and reputation. I mean, their direction is so common and obvious, that the mere categorization of "Heroes of the Republic" would have earned them my distrust. Anyway, great thread!! I don't remember one like this before. In a world of "Who is your favorite" and "Can't make my game work" kind of threads, it is nice to find an in-game, role-playing option!!

I always figured I'd be some sort of Grey Jedi were I one, so I imagine that as soon as the idea of Jedi fighting in the war was raised I'd have crept in with Revan's Jedi army.

Yes. I would have followed Revan to war, but only for the thrill of battle, to cut the Mandalorians down with my lightsaber. I would have followed him when he became a Sith, as well.

Sure. They had to be stopped wouldn't they? But when Revan fell to the darkside, I would stay light!

Exactly.

Well, we'd try to anyway. I'm pretty sure that none of those Jedi were expecting to fall to the darkside. Not even Revan imagined it until he saw... well, we don't know.

:confused:I'm caught in the middle, I mean :bows:thumbs up to Revan's cause in the beginning(slicing down mandalorians)and all. But not when he fell to the dark side, I would fight him then. So yes, I would follow revan.

No, I would have been kicked out of the order long ago for my blatant disregard for rules and my unyeilding refusal to give up letting my feelings control me, logic and reason are no match for anger and love XD

Screw the dark side, screw the light side, I'm out for myself! ^^

(When are they going to let us be Grey Jedi in KotOR?)

If you think about it, you can be one. When it comes to it, even a gray Jedi has to make a choice. The choice will be negative, or positive. In the divine words of Kreia, "Apathy is death."
