Hey, does somebody knows some web site with tutorials for to skinning??
I've been mapping a little, but, that's too long :o. I'll continue mapping, but I would like make some skins for weapons.:)
Wolfman's Skin Guide is what I learned on back in the day. I would actually recommend Magna_Carta's and PKM's both over that, though. Both can be found at our site (click on "Skinning Guides" in the left navigation bar). MarbleZilla's thread he posted recently here is also fine for starters.
There is no lack of skinning guides, and a lot of people also start out just by modifying textures. You can learn the rest later. A search on any MOH-related site will bring up plenty of information and tutorials regarding skinning.
Reskinning weapons is very easy, it hardly even needs a tutorial. Do you have PakScape? Just look up textures in the stock pk3's and start changing them. If you can do any mapping at all, then you should already know how to find and manipulate textures, and how to save them properly.
Just one thing, don't ever forget - always save your new creations in a separate pk3, don't ever save a changed file back into the stock pk3's.
First time I see this thread PKM.. and must say.. wow! Awesome work. Might just make a Skin right now =p
There is by no means a shortage of skinning guides. PKM's is one of the good ones.
Usually what people lack, though, is the persistence to actually learn it. That said, T-34 is looking mainly to reskin weapons it sounds like, which is considerably simpler.
T-34.. You'll find some good tutorials here -> Medal of Honor Download Files, Download Medal of Honor Patches - FileFront.com
Ok, thank you all ;)
have seen , crissi . have seen . btw, what's the story behind your screen name ?
