Your post is very confusing. Please re-phrase it.

Are you trying to save whatever changes you made to your defaultcore, on the SFC3 CD? You can't modify it as it is write-protected. There wouldn't be any changes to your game anyhow. In order to make changes to defaultcore, go to the standard directory where it can be found: C:/ProgramFiles/Activision/Sfc3/Assets/Specs

I thought you said it won't let you. Details please!
ok it wont let me save to the directory, it says i have to contact my administerator and i am it. when i try to copy the computer says i can still copy it.
Do you use Windows? If so, you may not be logged onto your master user where key functions may be operated. I don't think that's your situation though. Sorry, all I got.:uhm:
yeh i use windows xp. how do you do that?
I'm not exatcly sure. I'm not securely familiar with the Windows XP system. Try browsing in your Control Panel (or equivalent).
Yeesh, I wish I read your first post about this problem! I only discovered it now, that all this was discused before: http://www.gamingforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=67622
Try saving changes to defaultcore using each of all 4 administrators. If the changes save on any one of those users, then you've found the master administrator.
Thanks for your help.
