Could you tell us what the problem actually is? You can't open the files? It looks to me like they've been opened, and edited, and saved . . . don't have the game installed right now though, so I can't test.

double check your directories and names all match starting with .shader to .tik and then .shader to texture name and finally .shader to .pk3

finally, get an image hosting site that doesn't require you (as the intended viewer) to first select download and then punch in a code . i suggest photobucket.com (it's free) . i never view the images posted on sites like rapidscrewshare.

That's because you didn't put any image extensions in your shader. E.g. change this:

qer_editorimage textures/models/human/germanmaps/officier/gids_tunicto this:

qer_editorimage textures/models/human/germanmaps/officier/gids_tunic.jpgAnd so on with all the rest of the image references.

Ok thanks. I will do it completely again, I've seen some cool skins (these africa officier -the faces are horrible-), I oppened it with pakscape to see. I think I understand now what to do.

If you have further problems, feel free to post the pk3 up here as an attachment, just rename it as a .zip (those two filetypes are basically interchangeable). There are plenty of us that would be glad to take a look at it for you.

Looks like Kahn has you squared away.

Anytime a part of your skin looks all bright and ghost-like, its usually cause you are seeing the model without the shader. Done it myself enough times. Just rem to double or triple check the text in the TIK & SHADER files. All it takes is a missing letter or a oops in a shaders name or TGA/JPG location. That's why I put all my custom TGAs in 1 file to make typing the shaders a little less confusing.
