Hello to you all. Has anyone made ever a weapon with bones and all, in 3d studio max and after put it in game????:confused: . Dont tell me the story with LightRay and Milkshape, i know. I use lightray only to observe EA's models. After i use only 3D SM for modeling and bones.... Well if someone has achieved that, please tell me, my only question is about the bone setup process. Thanks a lot -------------->Exones<-------------

Well actualy there is a plugin for 3d studio max, and it comes with the sdk, its about max 3 and 4 only. Anyway i know what you mean about LR3D, But i am a 3DSM fanatic and i want to create everything there. So i can learn the most of that 3d software.

Thanks -------------->EXONES<--------------

Thanks for trying to help friend, but i am a 3D Studio Max FANATIC and i know that EA made all the models of MOH in 3DSM only. Thats why it gave as also the SDK with the max version 3-4 plugins and also that document tutorial " Exporting animated models from 3ds Max ". I know that there is an easy way of LightRay or Milkshape, but i like the hard way----->3DSM. And anyway my aim is to use in the future the 3D Studio Max proffesionaly in the games industry. So i dont care at all about LightRay or anything else except Max. I hope you get my point. I want to learn how EA made the models and all the bones......

Thats all for now ------------------------>EXONES

Actually, you're kind of bummin on the 3dsm thing. Unless EA releases the source code and you can then make your own plug-in with the 3dsmax sdk. I hope you know C++ and how to program, otherwise you'll be searching for a while. Now if you want to do all of your modeling and animations in 3ds max, you can bring them into the game. But, like was told to you before, you'll have to do the .skd and .skc exporting through a different program. I understand your pain, i have 3ds max 6, and i play MOHAA all the time. Unfortunately, i have to do most of my work through lr3d and ms3d (i have those also). There's just not enough support for the 3ds max and MOHAA. Even though MOHAA was made with 3ds max( go figure )
