I was on the forums earlier today when I hear pow pow pow outside and theres 3 police cars and an ambulance at my neighbor's house. I see an officer with one of those stun shotguns, and my neighbor's 38yr old son, limping out the door. I locked my door that lead to the back deck and peer out the window. The police grabbed him and cuffed him, and put him in the back of a car. Then my neighbor and his wife(both retired and elderly) come out the door, assisted by paramedics. Their noses were bloody and they were bruised. My dad was saying something from the other room like,"Glad someone called the police, dont want Bobby or Linda to get hurt." Then I heard my mom say,"Why isnt Jason in a mental facility?" My dad says,"Well, he just got out of rehab because of drugs, what do you expect from him?" That was a bit scary... I presume Jason was beating up my neighbors(Bobby & Linda) :spank:

Oh my god. That is probably a very scary experiance for you. Having someone living in you neighborhood who would stupe so low as to beat elderly people. I feel sorry for your neighbors. And for you if that person stays (though he is probably quite comfortable sditting in a jail cell [I hope]). Wow.

Damn, that sounds nasty indeed. I'm glad I live in a peaceful house with good neighbours.

That's horrible! :( But look at it this way, Jason can't hurt anyone where he's going now... Not that it doesn't suck that he has to go to such places! :uhm:

I live in a peaceful area, but here's a little irony for you: I live across the street from a police station. One time, a mad dog was attacking everyone that came on our property. I went to the police, and they said they can't help me since I live across the town line. Now that really sucks, doesn't it. And another thing: The house just next to ours was recently bought, but nobody told them about what happened there. Almost everyone that lived there died. Mainly because they were old, but who knows?

I've heard stories from my dad from when he was an MP in the army. They'd have to stop domestic violence almost every day on the base..it occurs more than we all think. just remember don't ever hit a woman, a child, or the elderly. have respect... glad the police got that sicko though..

Domestic Violence is part of everyday life here in South Africa. Once we were on a field trip to a church in Hillbrow, one of the most dangerous places to be in Jo'burg. Our bus had a police escort. Then, as we had a tour in the bus through the place we saw a security guard argueing with a guy and 2 seconds later we heard a loud scream. We looked back and saw the security guard pummeling the crap out of that guy with his nightstick... Unfortunately living in SA makes you indifferent to crimes around you. I read about or see violence here every day. Every day. I know it's not good, but only severe cases awaken my attention. Merry Christmas from South Africa Current Temperature: 32°C Lord Wiener
