Y'know, Norse mythology predicted Ragnarok would come after two things: First, perpetual winter, then the moral decline of man. Not taking it literally (I think five years of each was the precise mythology), we've already had the ice-age, and the EArth is heating up. Now I see we have the moral decline of man. Any wagers on how long till the Gods wage war on each other? Drugs cause more problems than they solve. As does alcohol. Yes, I drink it, however I would support it's abolishion. I know some people can't take it in moderation, and end up killing themselves or commiting crimes. Legalising soft drugs is just a method of saying 'well, if we can't stop them, let's legalise it!'.

I knew someone who did soft drugs too. Weed, I believe. He slowly but surely became addicted. Went to school high, got thrown out several times. Ultimately, he made front-page news on our local paper when he died in a car crash. Turns out he'd driven while in his typical state... stoned. Straight off the road, not even looking where he was going, and slammed into a tree. Yeah, alcohol does it too. But then, I just said I'd support the abolishion of alcohol as well - some people can't curtail their habbit.

Uh huh, but you think that's an isolated incident? Considering the entire argument for soft drugs is that they don't hurt anyone, that's a very short-sighted thing to say. People die from indirect use. Just because it isn't any worse than smoking it doesn't negate that simple fact.

When alcohol kills, and is cause for so much trouble I find it distubing how closed minded people are to some drugs. And I dont like how easy doctors give out painkillers and other drugs.
