Hi:

I have a power core in a mp that I want to zap the player if they touch it. I can make a trigger_hurt to hurt the player. That's no problem. I'm curious, though: Is there a way to "zap" the player? In other words, have residual electricity on the player after touching the core, like with other electrical stuff in the sp levels?"

For that matter, how do I make something "disintegrate" a player, so that when he/she touches it, it's like he/she got shot with a disruptor? Is there a way to set a trigger_hurt to do stuff like that, or is there another entity I should use, or will that work at all?

Just wondering, Canew

Alright, for the zapping, there is an electricity spawnflag for the brush. Disintegration, though, is impossible as of yet.

Func_pendulums and func_rotatings have the possibility to desintegrate a player touching them.

Oh, sorry. But I don't think that's what he meant.

Indeed, it isn't. But you might want to try a slow, round, func_rotating covered in nodraw. *shrug*

Okay, but I don't see a check box for that in the entity properties. What's the key and value for that?
