Hey everyone. Me and my brother are haveing a problem with spearhead. We both have our comps hoooked up to the net with a router, and we cant for the life of us join a server together. We both have our own copies of the game. If one of us connects to a server, and the other tries to join we both get kicked off, it will say server connection error or connection timed out. Yes, it sounds like a internet problem, but its only with spearhead. We could play COD just fine, and other games. Its just not with spearhead.
any ideas? thanks
Have you patched up to the latest version of the game?

I'm pretty sure I'm only 2.11, and hes 2.15. I'll give this a try. thanks for the help
Lemme rephrase myself. I can play just fine alone. But when my brother tries to connect to the same server we both get kicked or vise versa.
This is a vary werid problem.
Is it with any server or just a specific one? I ask this because some servers have anti-cheats that won't allow two players with the same IP to join. I too have another Computer hooked up through a router and there are some servers that My Brother and I cant connect to together, but we usually getan In game message saying Kicking "My brother" and "Myself" for same IP.
Make sure you have set your connection to LAN or T1. Just a thought. :)
I cant get this to work. I sent a request to EA. Thanks for the help guys, I'll update shorty.
You (probably) won't get a reply from EA though. Lazy bums..
Can you specify the servers you try to join? DMW or any other anti cheat, that kinda info is what we need to help you.
Its mostly all server's. With Forsite 1.5. Servers like NDE / S&D / etc.. Mostly rifle servers.
We can connect to a lan just fine. Both our IP's are different they are not the same.
Also on a side note.. We played AA just fine together on server. :uhm:
You both sit in the same house? And yet your IP's are different? :uhm: I think you got your LAN ip confused with your ISP ip.
