Then I like to do things the hard way. Oh btw the commands you are talking about only make dismemberment happen more often. There are only a few number of spots where the body can be cut. Like on the arm the only spots that can be cut is wrist and elbow. This is because in 3ds max to save polygons, for faster rendering time, they deleted the faces you would never see. Like the inside of an arm. To accoplish dismemberment they had to create a set of vertecies that would be deleted and insplace of them a surface is created. If you model with 3ds max you would know that when you delete a face you see the grey backround of the home screen, or whatever object is behind it. Now if the commands created more dismemberment places then the spot on the arm they were cut off would create the HOM(hall of mirrors) effect. So the only way to add more places to dismember you be to add them. *Yeah I just re-read the orig post and I had created way to much work formyself cuz thats not what he wanted, but anywho theres a small mini useless tutorial.(and a bit of useless info on how to saved rendering time when making models for JKA)
