an improved saberlock, meaning that more than just 2 people can lock up. Also a darthmaul saber-stancy (i know this is a bit odd but it might be cool)
as you know, there is a setting to disallow saber locks outside of duel in FFA games. If you have ever played with the setting of you will see what happens when two players are saber locked and the third comes in for the kill :(
Now aside from that little problem, the code for saber locks is brutal, complex, ugly and massive. (OK, i exaggerate a bit). I don't think I would like to touch it with a ten foot pole. And that is just for two sabers! I dunno what it would be like for three... four... OW!!

No you don't. The current code is crap. I am not exactly hot to trot on multiple saberlocks at one time, but I do think the saberlock code should be re-done. Saberlocks are great for fun factor, but as far as being fair goes, they are anything but that.
As long as both people in the saberlock have high speed internet connections, whomever has the faster PC will more than likely win because the current code decides whomever the winner is by whomever sends the most commands, since the faster PC is more likely to send those commands faster that user will more than likely win.
I was thinking the saberlock code would be better if there was something (maybe a scale similar to the FPS-scale thing) on the client-side judging what the actual amount of hits per second is & then that gets sent to the server.
Ya, I would imagine it would, but Lee is a smart guy & I am sure he can figure it out. Hopefully he can do something about this after he tackles all the bigger problems with Duelers.
