well i myself would like to see everything that was in jam1.4, and also some new things - dmg rating for the new sabers - see if you could fix poor on ms( raven screwed it :( ) - maybe an option for what levels of admin can change map

i know ya gona have ya work cut out for ya, but i look forward to your mod being released :p

btw could we get more emotes??? :lol:

Alrighty, us boys from *BS* clan are craving JA mod for JK3. I dunno about stuff we'd like to see, we used 1.3, it was great. The admin gun sounds cool, it would be awesome with teleport. We also used the /amnpcaccess alot too. All of the commands from 1.3 got used quite a bit.

Also is there a way to get an academy mod for jk2 to work for jk3 for the meantime until you're done? or how long could we expect to wait? I think *BS*Mirgy is gonna go mad :furious: if he doesnt get his empowerment soon!

Well, I know its kinda rude to compare the mod to other mods. But for me, one of the most useful features I've found was Duelers mod's ability to expand the character select. I have well over 256 models, so many dont show up without it. On JK 2 I found the file that did that and added it into the Acadamy directory so i could use it all the time, but It doesnt work on JK3. I think many people would appreciate it if that was added into JAR instead of me having to dive into another mod's PK3 file. ^_^;;

Ok u have way to many model imo who needs that many? but why don't you just type your desierd model in the console. wtire their model names down or somethin. And most importantly would it require JA to me client side? or would it stay serverside?

Hi, i saw reverse damage in a post and i found it ll be realy fun and more usefull that slap or sleep or other punish .. i think jedi academy offers us new possibilities of events so as a punish i ll see well a group of wampas ( 4 or 5 ) targeted on a bad gamer .. it will be more fun but perhaps more difficult about the server s ressources

Including the jet pack will be fun too .. or vehicles like tauntaun or wampa_vehicle as we see in the cheatcode actived servers ..

I found jedi knight 2 too strict for bad gamers who just want to frag and all the time was punished .. so punishment like groupe of monster to kill will be more teaching that /ampunish /amslap or /amsleep that was realy poor for frager ( we all have fraged some days :smokin: )

In place of drive out with rabbit i d see well a things like the game when you have a certain number of chair and just one guy have no chair to sit .. but here with vehicles like tauntaun or swoop and the drive out begin with the guy who dont have a vehicle .. ( i tested it s realy hard to win in front of a guy who drive a vehicle ) bunny season was not realy fun i found .. something like starwars gladiator will be more fun i found ..

All of these are great ideas. Please use the Jedi Academy Reloaded Forum section in the future. Its much easier to use for me. This thread was created before I had my own forums, hee-hee. I also thank you for the support of the JA Mod. It was a real success and I couldnt have done it without everyones ideas and help during the building process.

Jedi Academy Reloaded will still be server-side only. However, I am going to push it further and see what I can get away with, without entering the client-side realm. As of right now, the source code is not released so I cannot code anything at this time. I have over 3 pages of ideas, and just 1 one them were functions from the last mod.

For other news, there has been talk from other modders about them creating their own "admin mod" so to speak to compete against JAR. I wish them well, but I am sure everyone will stick with a real robust mod with a great brand name that has delivered in the past. The JA Mod has been constantly coded, by me, to delever more speed, better function handling, eliminate code redundancy, getting rid of "unreachable code" warnings created by raven as well as ridding of all memory leaks. Thanks to Devpartner Studio and MS Visual Studio .NET I was able to achieve such successes.

Stay tuned, as Jedi Acadamy Reloaded will bring new life to JK:JA as well as better server control.

Glad to hear it! All other admin mods will be nothing compared to JAR. Chosen one told me an idea *shuts him mouth mumbling* Yep thats right hes gonna make the mod *Mumbles*! isn't it coool!

Personally Chosen one...i'd liek to see more server custimization Cvars...Like your o so cool welcome message. Cvars to change the messages displayed on the server... for example.

JoeBloggs enterd the battle - could be customized so we coudl have something like...

JoeBloggs Enterd the Academy.

cool things t oreally give eac hserver a personallity and diffrence from one another.

I'd like it if jedi knight admin can use slap. In my clan I can only have that level of admin, and I found that sleep is eneffective in dealing with players, slap is more effective because they get the point immediately, plus, it's useful for self defense if someone is tryin to lame you.
