Question 1) I've got all of the JO skins to work in Multi Player, but can't seem to get any to work in Single Player. Here is what I've tried: Put *.pk3 file in GameData\Base Rename model folder to read GameData\Base\Models\Players\Jedi_rm (to replace Rodian Male) Now, if I run the game at this stage, the model comes up but the skins do not display So I followed the directions of another post and copied "model_default.skin" three times and renamed them to "head_a1.skin" , "lower_a1.skin" , and "torso_a1.skin" At this point, when I run the game no model comes up at all. What am I doing wrong? Question 2) I downloaded the SP_Yoda model from Lucasfiles.com and followed the instructions, and as far as I could tell, it worked. After I entered the console command, Luke changed into Yoda (which was funny, but not what I'm after). The description says that I can play as Yoda, and I was wondering how I can make that happen? Thanks in advance.

TevenanSo I followed the directions of another post and copied "model_default.skin" three times and renamed them to "head_a1.skin" , "lower_a1.skin" , and "torso_a1.skin"

That tutorial doesn't allow you to make new species with selectable skin parts. However, try to select a head style... (i know this sounds strange but it worked for me to select different skins...). And as far as I know the models for JO shouldn't work in JA because they have a different number of bones (72 JK2 and 4x JK3...)...

Try to run JA models under JO... funny :) :) :) They looks like work of Picasso! One has leg at head, arm at face (Rosh)

Thanks for the replies, but I found out what was going on. The *.skin files wer referring to the original directory names, but I changed them to "jedi_" so they'd appear in the character creation screen. Also, none of the tutorials say this, but you need to copy the "icon_default.jpg" file three times and rename each to "icon_head_a1.jpg", "icon_lower_a1.jpg", and "icon_torso_a1.jpg". Also, if you wanna keep more than one model to use in the single player game, keep a copy of the "string\english\MENU.str" file in its own pk3 so you can update the species names without altering the original game data. Still no answer for the Yoda question, but i got him to work using the method above...only he's got funky white hair (something going on with the shading) and is as big as a normal person (check out the size of that head!). Any ideas?
