I'm making ladder map for JA SP, but I have one problem:
How to spawn npc after killing another one?
Example: I'm killing reborn, and immediately when reborn is dead, rodian is spawned.
:uhoh: PLEASE HEEELP :uhoh:
Look at the scripts in the first Ladder for JK2.
First ladder? What? Where?
Oww... I'v readed some .ibi files, but I can't change them to work on my map.... And my BehavEd doesn't work...
IBI files can't be opened. They're compiled TXT files. I've seen a ladder with its ibi scripts plus their respective txt scripts. Look for the right ladder and read those TXTs. What's wrong with your BehavED?
I haven't set patchs for bunch of things. But now it works :)
Can you help me finding this ladder? I mean what's the name of it...
I know many ladders: _ the ladder - the first one. _ Ladder: Xmas story - a nice winter ladder with a DooM 2 Remixed soundtrack!!! (really:) . No really this isn't a joke. And I can tell you that it's the 1st and 15th level soundtrack) _ the challenge in the jedi valley[/url], a nice ladder with a good choice of music
Melee mod's ladder which is the same first ladder _ unofficial ladder 2 I've linked all these maps to the sites where you can find them. The ladder 2 map was in a site that now is dead: www.jediknightii.net... I haven't found it in www.JK3files.com nor in www.jediknight.net. Sorry.:(
OK. Thanx But now, how can I put this ingame? How does it spawns npcs?
Well. To play those levels just place them in gamedata/base directory and, in the console type "map MAPNAME" . The mapname is the name of the map file. Look in its pk3 in the "maps" directory. The "ladder style", which means the "spawn-after-kill" machanism, is directed by a script. I'm not a scripter, but i know this...:). Remember that those maps use some textures that aren't in the JK3 assets. You can look for them to place them in Gamedata\base as a new pk3 or you can extract the whole "texture" directory used in JK2's assets0.pk3...:p
