I'm making a map somewhat akin to the KOTOR FLIGHT SCHOOL map. I'm trying to compile it to test it out and it won't finish compiling. I don't have any ships in it yet; i'm just trying to test out the architecture. I have all the brushes that aren't touching the void as detail brushes. The compiler keeps getting hung up on the VIS process. is it just supposed to take a long time because the map is so big? I even left it on over night and it didn't finish.

Select a regular brush (like a skybox brush), press N You'll get the entity window and should see classname worldspawn Type in a key of _blocksize and a value of 4096 4096 4096

wow, that really helped, thanks! but what does that do? does it have any adverse effects on my map?
