Hi! I got a question here. I am only using 3197 brushes and 421 entities and when I compile it I get this error: Max_Map_Visibility Exceeded. Can anyone help me? :uhm:

Um, ONLY??? Have you used: -Caulk on non-visible surfaces? -Detail Brushes? -Areaportals on doors? -Only one huge area? For tutorials on all these, view the tutorial thread that is stickied above.

Enter _blocksize / 2048 2048 2048 in the worldspawn. Oh, dare I assume we're in for another gamerap, eh, flightmap?

_blocksize 4096 4096 4096

Large map, anyhow. Eek.

In the key box (the top of the two input boxes) type _blocksize In the value box (the bottom of the two input boxes) type 4096 4096 4096

Just to make it even clearer

Thanks for your help, really!!! I found out I didn't have enough detailed brushes. I am building a map of the City(maybe) of Naboo. Actually just right now the Royal Theed Palace. So this is going to be a large map. I do have a question. I seem to be having trouble getting the sounds I want for the doors. The map is going to be for Jedi Academy so I know that there are some differences. Any help or suggestions would be great. Again thanks.

on doors, key soundSet value....is from a file called sound.txt in assets1.pk3 under the folder sound. You can't simply specify mp3/wav files anymore on the entity - a bad move I feel but well it's in the code now until someone mods it!
