Hi All, I've just reinstalled MOHAA + Spearhead after having not played it in ages, but my new PC (spec to follow) just does not want to know. I gather it's called computer lag, and when you load up, the first screen (inside the briefing room) the cursor moves so slowly, it's almost as if someone has put deep sea diving boots on it. This cumbersome effect is then replicated when you play the game and naturally when you go online. My current spec is: Windows XPP SP2 Intel Core 2 E6300 @ 1.86GHz 1Gb RAM 160GB HDD Intel GM3000 - integrated card I have downloaded all the necessary patches but it will still not work correctly. I have tried changing the lag rate in the console as well as the fp(?) rate to 1 - as per tip No. 5 from the help mail in this Error Section. These have slightly altered the gameplay, but it's barely noticeable. When I had my old PC it worked fine, the Spec for which was: Windows 2000 SP4 AMD Athlon processor 256MB RAM Radeon DDR Also, I have reinstalled Call of Duty and this plays like a dream. Any help would be most gratefully received as I've tried everything within my capabilities, and this includes brushing my teeth. I'm sure this is fixable, and wouldn;t be surprised if it's my integrated graphics card but I'm hoping to get playing it soon as this is my most favourite game of all time. Cheers all Al

well i think you should reistall it again and do all stuff you need to do like drivers and patches but im indeed not happy with that intergrated card maybe thats the point, you should try a card of your friend and then see if it plays hope you fix it soon

It does sound like the card to me also.

Remember that your intergrated card is also sharing memory, and the actual card mem could be too low to play it. Then again COD2 works like a dream you say?

Almost guaranteed it's the card, especially if you just installed the game and you haven't ever run it on that computer before. Have you made sure you have the latest driver version for your card? I don't know what else you can do besides getting a new card.

Thanks chaps for your help. Yes, COD works fine - haven't got COD2 yet but will at a later date. Just grabbed this from the graphics card information tab (CONTROL PANEL | INTEL (R) GMA DRIVER) Whether it gives clues to anyone I don't know. Hope so.
