I'm not sure it's possible.

I think it's in the code.

Word-Life_eVo- to fix that problem type in: playerteam player then you will have the NPC's act right.

I actually made a Reborn race for my personal use; I'd post the mod here, but it's very much a custom job, specifically made to work with all the other mods I've downloaded, so I can't promise it'd work correct for anyone else.

(Plus, it uses a custom-made skin, featuring New Republic symbols)

Nope, no replacements. Heck, I have that, a Jawa Race, and a Chiss Race. They're all based on changes and things I studied in the Chiss Race that is posted in various places around the web. If you want to see my little work, I'll post the file here.

~Reborn Species ZIP~

To get it to work, replace .ZIP with .PK3, of course. Now, for the insturctions, such as they are:

Please note: You need all three icons for the head, torso, and legs. While the Chiss Race was made from the Human Race, allowing there to be multiple parts used, I have no idea if you can do the same with other in-game models, and I highly doubt it.

Also, the .Skin files for the parts are actually just the original model's skin file, but copied three times and renamed. You need to do this, because they're linked to the icons.

The Sounds.cfg file should just contain:

jaden_male m

Or

jaden_female f

Depending on the gender of your model (sure, you can make a big, burly man with the female voice if you choose; the sound file isn't linked to any model).

The Playerchoice.txt file is merely the file that tells the game with colors can be chosen for this particular race. This one if copied straight from the human race; I don't actually know if it's needed, but it's there for completetion (also, the Reborn model doesn't have choosable texture colors anyway, so it's useless).

Then, there's the big thing. The MENUS.str files. THESE are where you add in your model as a race. Only the English one is editted to include the race, but that's to be expected, since this WAS a private mod 'til now, and is still a work in progress.

Now, inside the MENUS.str file of your choice (they're regular TXT files; easily opened in Notebook, just bind them to it), you'll find a long list of references and things. These tell the game where to find names, notes, and other things. What we're interested in is adding a race. Scroll down a bit (if needed), until you see something that resembles:

REFERENCE JEDI_HF NOTES "For character menu" LANG_ENGLISH "Human Female"

Look familar? This is what tells the game that the Human Female exists, and is a race. Now, we want to add in the Reborn as a race (I use the Reborn_Twin model, and not the vanilla Reborn, myself).

All the files for my editted Reborn_Twin were saved in a directory known as Models/Players/JEDI_RBM (if you don't know how to do this already, you're not ready to try making a race). All we need is the JEDI_RBM folder name for making our race. So, add this somewhere in the file (I added it right under the Zabrak Female, so I have no idea if you can just add it in anywhere and get good results, or if it HAS to be in a certain place):

REFERENCE JEDI_RBM NOTES "For character menu" LANG_ENGLISH "Reborn Male"

That will add the Reborn Male in as a selectable race, provided all the files are there.

Note: The MENUS.str files are also where you'd go to add in new Lightsabers to be selected and such. But, I won't get into that right now, suffice to say it's rather similar to the procedure for adding in new races).

Now then, if you use this, you'll immediately notice some "glitches". I know about them. Well, most of them. Here are the problems:

1. You MAY have blank spaces for the Chiss Male and the Jawa Male. I actually don't know, but that shouldn't matter much. 2. The textures used for the Reborn Male Race are made by me. It is based on the blue skin, and features Rebel Alliance symbols. It is NOT perfect. Scaling of the back symbol is off a bit, and the ones on the shoulder pads are upside down. I've been too busy lately to fix this; sorry. 3. The metal "collar" will act as part of the head when Jaden talks. This is part of the model, and isn't fixable (hey, it's not like you see Reborn_twins talk up close often anyway, so Raven can be excused from that). 4. There are quite a few useless files in the ZIP. It's not finalized, so these are around so I don't lose them, incase I need them. They include unused textures, and the other Skin files. The ORIGINAL Default SKIN file is renamed "Model_default.skin.pie", incase you want to take the time to replace the 3 part skin files with this one to get the default skin. 5. The Icons for the parts are all a black box that says "JAWA". This is because they were copied straight from my Jawa Race, and I was too lazy to change them. Remember, this was a personal mod; it's not perfect, it's just good enough for me.

That's about it, I believe. I hope I helped.
