I'm working on some skin and model files now and just started getting the error. I can go into my custom GameData\base\ext_data\npcs dir and delete a couple of npc files and the game will load MP again, but now all my custom characters are gone. I can select them initially if I first start mp and go directly to the profile screen, but when the map loads, my character (and the the bots that were loaded as custom characters) is given a "default" original game skin. If I hit esc during such game and go to profile from there, all the icons are gone for my custom characters and the custom sabers stop working. I have no clue dude... still tinkering with it to see what happens. If anyone has an answer to this one, it would be greatly appreciated as I cant find even semi-specific info on it ANYWHERE.
Seems like noone of you read the NPCs files. To let them work they mustn't be greater than a certain size (it's described in one of the NPCs files or around there). This could be one of the possible why. Another reason is that maybe you've made too many customs NPCs... There's nothing wronger than deleting something that was in the original assets...
