hi all, in some of my sky textures, i can see some of my map that are close to it, what do i ahev to do to make it so i dont see anything behind the sky texture? do i ahev to do somethign special to the texture? or texture jstu one side of a chalk? i am out of ideas to fix this..
You could try putting a big black box behind it as stand-in.
It's a vis thing, you need to design the vis data in your map to stop this happening, if that isn't possible the only other feasible thing left is to re-design the layout of the map to move it away.
well... i did use a teleporter last time i needed that... but im just lucky that i used that so i can teleport it as long away as i want (almos ;))

Well i am hoping to put my map on the internet as version one on saturday so i dont really want to change how the map looks like. so for your other thing, how do i make a a vis data? i saw in a nother topic u told someone to make one with a hint thing or somthing, he asked what a hint was and no one answered, well i ahve no idea what that is too, so some helpw ith that defintion too. i hope i can fix this with out moveing anything around
I've found a user posting tutorial here which covers the idea of hint use: http://www.quake3world.com/ubb/Archives/Archive-000004/HTML/20020625-6-022411.html
There are some very good hint tutorials out there but I don't have the links...they have been posted before though.
