I'm trying to texture a path in a map of mine... I need to blend to textures, but the never line up... whats the best way to do it?

I need the two textures you see to conect... but the dirt texture on them wont match... it makes a line in between them.

You could also do smooth blended terrain if you have a tiling grass texture as well...unfortunately it will fade from the path to the grass which may look odd.
It looks like the best 2 methods are 1) the decal trick in that thread, 2) a patch mesh in the shape of the path that uses a TGA file with rough edges to blend between that and grass. This is basically like the decal trick but would let you control it all.
