Okay, I wanna put some trees in my courtyard, so I go right-click in area, misc, then misc_model. I hit n, bring up properties, set model, .md3. Tree appears. Looks great. I compile, suddenly all there are are the trunks. Leaves are missing. WTF? They are there when I look at it in the editing process, what happens during compile/running of the game that strips them?

i put a plant in a pot in one of my maps and it did the same thing. had the pot but no leaves. I remeber looking in the Matrix Reloaded .zip file and saw the leaf textures in there. Maybe you hve to make the leaves like a brush.

Yeah, I went into the assets files and found the stuff that goes with the trees, .tga, .jpg files, etc., and even put copies into the pk3, but it STILL doesn't work! I don't get this. What's so darned special about the way the trees work???

actually.. theres a button called Tree Planter.. it makes pine trees.. Its in the list of buttons under the save button.. one of them.. you have to make a small brush.. click on the button.. or soemthing like that.. but it makes the trees walkthrough. i was using them on my mortal kombat living forrest area of my map..
