I can't seem to turn off parts of models in JA. If anyone could tell me how to do this that would be great- I mean like turning off hip pouches and the like.

Also I would like to know how to make parts of models invisible- Does this require shaders?

honestly how to do that is no trick.. goto base/models/dessan/model.skin, Note model.skin is the real config file to changing well skins and yes you can make them invisiable. for any line you wish to eliminate, for this, r_hand, caps (after any of the well places ya wanna kill, caps is the only one you can replace it with.) oh yeah when it comes to most files your unfimiliar with. ask before going on. .SKIN can be opened with notepad, so fiddle around with her and thar she goes!

hips_bag,models/players/chewbacca/chewbacca_body.tga

to:

hips_bag_off,models/players/stormtrooper/caps.tga

is that right?

No. You should change it to this:

hips_bag,*off

but you could have a "hole" in model, so you can see what's behind him.

I was asking on this forum, how to make "cap" after chopping-off head. I mean I want to make skin without head. So it is without. But I need to fill model with cap. Anybody know how to do it?

*off is for JA, Cap is for JO... But from my knowledge, Download the custom mandolorian model pack for JO, veiw the .SKIN files, I belive ya need a new model in order to have caps work? unless I am wrong, check out that file!
