I've had a play around moving models over from jk2 and they work fine, there is a little problem when using taunt tho, most noticed with two sabers is the fact that the jk2 model keeps hold of one of the sabers instead of them both crossing in front of him... Now sounds.... Custom sounds will not work straight off, you need to change the sounds.cfg file in the custom model/skin's folder. Edit it using wordpad: JK2 Sounds.cfg reads like this: chars/playername/misc m JK3 Sounds.cfg should read like this: playername m You don't need directory path. As for maps, if you have used a downloaded map in JK3 you will have seen missing textures (these are the ones from JK2) my suggestion is to extract ALL the textures from JK2's assets0.pk3 and pack them into new one and put them in JK3 base folder. Although I haven't tested this theory yet I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work.

I know what your saying there, but its any model from JO this happens with, not even tried the Mandalorian models as Boba is available already in the game... Although I will add, and this is my opinion, the Boba/Jango Fett models released for JO are MUCH better looking than the one thats in JA, same goes for the Tuskan Raider model, Raven should have put the same amount of work to their versions as the guys who made the JO versions I think. Anyway, going off subject there.... Its the same with all the models, J, must be something to do with the fact that there is no tag (that right word?) on left hand to let go of saber in th JO models, or that'd be my guess anyway. Can't wait for mapping tool, got some ideas in my head for including the Swoop Bikes in a map but without the constraits of a siege game holding you back!

There is a file on forcetemple.com with all the old JKO maps in it.

-=OR=-

Open your assets1.pk3 in JKO and extract the relevent maps using WINrar or something of that nature, then rezip them back into another pk3 and put that in your JKA base.
