allright I have a water stream that is pretty long and leads to a main source of water. Well I wanted this stream to push me a long. Now I was wondering how I would do this and how I would make the bottom surface of the stream slick so it will push along smoothly
in system textures there s a brush called slick or something, i never really tried it but it seemed to have a 'greasing' effect on the surface i played on. i'm not sure about getting the water to push you though, have you tried trigger_push?
You can make a trigger_push have a constant push effect instead of a single big jump burst. So yeah, you can make it push you along at a constant rate.
Make it so it goes through the whole stream though.
So i should select all of the stream and put trigger_push on it. Is there a way to increase the speed, so if i want it to go fricken fast or just fricken slow lol
well to incread the speed, u can maybe have like 5 differnte ones ina line, each one faster, so u "get off" of on of the push then hit the next which is faster, that might be how u can do it, not really sure, but i am sure Wade will correct me like always

try going to the trigger_push entity menu thingy and writing speed #, but not so sure, never had to use it
yea that is what i getign at, u jsut hvae to set the speed, i belive it would be speed like phats and doors
