alllright i did what you said moberemk, I place it in C:/Program Files/Lucasarts/Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy/Gamedata/base/textures/texturehw. I put all of my jpg images in a .pk3 with pakscape. Then i went into radient and it didn't work. Is it because the source name is to long. So how do i get it from here to work. lol
Is it under textures/mytextures? And I hope you don't have a .shader.
no i don't think there fricken shaders. Its really ticking me off and it is under textures/texturehw/. then its the file after that. Any ideas also if it is a shader can you tell me what to do real fast in case i was wrg
anyone anyone, don't hold back lol
Here to help shed some light on this subject is.... Moberemk!!!! YAYAYAYAy! Okay, back on subject count your digits in your texture path. I don't happen to know the exact number of digits there is max, but I know it's above 90, so no path problems. This is odd, really odd.
thats what im saying i will give that a shot, i will a try adding some downloaded textures to see if those will work. But i will give that a shot and post back
Hey, how do you apply shaders to your model, do you just change the texture path in the skin file to point to the shader? Also, is there limit on the amount of textures you can have? I had one texture and it would never show up even though it was the right size.
Um, yeah, not quite what this thread is on, but here goes.... Try changing the texture in the textures/models folder. That should work.
well now if you wouldn't mind, im getting it to work abit, but its just a large tree with no leaves or anything like that. But i think there was a thread on that by tk so im going to try to find that, but if you feel like giving me an answer, i would be gratefull. Oh and about that tree i can walk threw it.
ShaderEd2 isn't evil. Notepad just is better.
